Problem in Composite Failure Tool

      Good morning everyone,

I am facing an error in Composite Failure Tool.

I have designed a tube made of plies in composite material. I have also used Material Designer to create a  Carbon Twill ply with +- 45° fiber direction.

So, I run the analysis and i get results.

After adding a Composite Failure Tool I get this error:

'' Error evaluating Composite Failure result: composite::composite_failure_operator:612<-composite::minmax_per_element_operator:669<-composite::multiple_failure_criteria_operator:668<-composite::max_over_multiple_failure_criteria_operator:672<-composite::max_strain_operator:670<-1920 exceptions occured in parallel region. First exception: Material Evaluator: Missing property. Material evaluation failed: Current material `Carbon Twill +-45` (VUUID: 62ce0c05-9d60-4070-8f5c-3df51916243b). Property set name: Strain Limits. Property name: eXt. ''

May you please tell me why and what I should do in order to get results?

      Kind Regards,

      Giuseppe

      Hi,

Is there a missing property value as indicated in the error message?

      Regards,

      Good Evening Ashish,

      thank you for the response.

I solved the problem. Having created the material using the Material Designer, as you suggested, I was missing some values in the material properties. By adding them, I resolved the issue.

      Kind Regards,

      Giuseppe
