      Dear Team,
I hope you are doing well.
I am having a .dat.h5 file as an output even though I have set up "Legacy" in Fluent under preferences. I saved my case and a data file in .cas and .dat format. I have tried to follow all the suggestions in ANSYS 19, 20, 21, and 22. But, the problem remains the same while I am running my simulation in HPC. I cannot open .h5 file in CFD-post.
      Could you please suggest?

One can open CFF / H5 files in Ansys CFD-Post using the recent versions.

        Hi Amine,
Thanks for your reply. I tried to open it in even ANSYS 2022 R1. But, it didn't work.

Did you set the preference in Fluent standalone and then run in Workbench (or vice versa)?

        Hi Robert,
Thanks for your reply. I have set up "Legacy" in fluent while I was in the Workbench. I saved fluent files (.cas and.dat). And then I run those files in the HPC system.

      Hello Everyone,
I am doing a project and I am doing transient Thermal Analysis, after completing the simulation, I need the temperature history of geometry at each node (coordinate) at each time step in .txt, .xls or any other format so that I can use it for my ML algorithm. Please tell me how I can get it?

1/If you check the official documentation in Ansys CFD-Post can read CFF/H5 files. We still recommend exporting in CFD-Post Compatible Files for post-processing Fluent results in Ansys CFD-Post.

2/@nikhil: You can export ASCII Files under File/Export.
