SubscriberHello,
I'm trying to create position-dependent internal heat generator on a polymer strip. I want to generate heat which value will be changing in every direction relative to the center and it will be defined by function of x,y,z coordinates. It is possible to make it by python or matlab scippting in ANSYS?
Additionally, I started using ANSYS recently and I would be grateful for any tutorials about how to use python scripting.
Thanks in advance,
Lucas

Forum Moderatorpython scripting is possible, but you can also create a text file x y z coordinates, and use a formula based on them to create the internal heat generation data.
This text or csv file can be imported in Mechanical using external data.

SubscriberThanks a lot! I'll try with a CSV file.
