could you tell me is it possible to create a Polyline from lines in SpaceClaim? I would like to create the polyline and save to DXF/DWG for CNC machine.

 Yes, it is possible to create a polyline from lines in SpaceClaim.

To create polylines from lines in SpaceClaim, if you use fill  option  (or press F) and if you select endpoints of sketch curves, the curves are concatenated into a single spline. Neighboring sketch curves are merged into one polyline.  Please refer to this post and AIM documentation for more information.  

save to DXF/DWG for CNC machine.

 Once you have polyline, you can create a drawing in SpaceClaim and export it as .dxf/.dwg, as per your requirement. Please refer to SpaceClaim drawing tutorial and Spaceclaim documentation for a detailed explanation.

Unfortunately, your tip doesn't work. I don't need a new surface from lines, but I need only one polyline from 5 lines for example, similar as in the video.

Could you help me with this, please?

Hello Lukas ,

Sorry for the miscommunication. 

My solution will be the same, I think you have selected lines instead of points.

If you select lines and use the fill command, it will form a surface. If you select endpoints of these lines and use the fill command, you will get a concatenated polyline.

Please find the attached video, where I have followed the same steps to get our desired results.

Is it possible to make an enhancement request out of this? Instead of selecting points (which takes some time to select for more than 5 lines) it would be more user friendly to chainselect lines and convert them to a polyline in one click. This option/tool would be very nice for many customers.

I completely agree with you, I think chain selection to create polylines would be a great value addition to SC. 

Is it possible to make an enhancement request out of this?

 You can suggest this in the SpaceClaim ideas section, where the developers can look into it, and can include it in future versions.
