Hi @manmorcannPly type option provides the information on applicability of failure criteria with a particular ply type. Hi Everyone,

I am just starting on ANSYS ACP. Have some basic doubts:

1. I have to analyse a composite with epoxy and jute fibre (6 strands) with the total thickness of 10 mm (2mm epoxy between fibre strands) - for this what thickness should i assign to the mesh...secondly while creating fabric in ACP pre which material to select and what should be the thickness...thirdly how to make stackup for this.
2. Also i am a bit confused on specifying the thickness of the ply.

Please reply if anyone can help. Also if possible we can connect on teams.
