Hello everyone,
I'm currently working on understanding the magnetic field characteristics of an antenna operating at 2.5 GHz. Specifically, I'm interested in plotting the magnetic field density (in Tesla) in the near-field region around the antenna.
Does anyone have experience with this type of analysis or plotting? I'm looking to visualize the spatial magnetic field strength of antenna.Best regards,
Fatima

Hi Fatima,Â
You can select faces (or coordinate system planes xy, xz, zy in the modeler tree) where you want to plot the fields, right click>Plot Fields>Mag_H or CmplxMag_H. This plots the magnetic field in A/m. HFSS does not report B in Tesla, but you can drive B in terms of H and magnetic permeability of the medium.Â
