SubscriberWhat im trying to do is a reinforced concrete beam column joint. and at the node 665, where i made all of the individual RC element by nodes. im not sure what is the problem here. Node 665 is just tbetween the connection of beam and column. so im not sure what is the problem here. Im new to ansys in general.

Ansys EmployeeHi, what kind of connection are you using to connect beam and column? Normally beam has 6 DOF and solid element has 3 DOF. The error may appear because of this.Â

Subscriberi made the element individually by solid65 for the whole beam column joint. which then i created new element of link180 for the rebar and stirrups and applied it at the existing nodes.
