SubscriberThis happens because the wall (with a certain viscosity value) bends, thus deflecting the air flow, causing the velocity to increase.
Apart from that, this is also in accordance with Bernoulli's principle, where if there is low pressure in an area, the fluid velocity in that area will increase.
