Hi, I am working on the pin on disc wear stimulation. Earlier, I made the same model in static structural, but I could not add the joint rotation as rotation velocity in rad/sec. But now, I have made the same model in transient structural, but when I am adding the joint rotation velocity in rad/sec. The disc is expanding and showing the following errors.
1) The solver engine was unable to converge on a solution for the nonlinear problem as constrained. Please see the Troubleshooting section of the Help System for more information.
2) Element 4386 located in Body "SYSDisc" (and maybe other elements) has become highly distorted. You may select the offending object and/or geometry via RMB on this warning in the Messages window. Excessive distortion of elements is usually a symptom indicating the need for corrective action elsewhere. Try incrementing the load more slowly (increase the number of substeps or decrease the time step size). You may need to improve your mesh to obtain elements with better aspect ratios. Also consider the behavior of materials, contact pairs, and/or constraint equations. If this message appears in the first iteration of first substep, be sure to perform element shape checking. Named Selections for the offending element can be created via the Identify Element Violations property on the Solution Information Object.
Warnings
1)The unconverged solution (identified as Substep 999999) is output for analysis debug purposes. Results at this time should not be used for any other purpose.
2) Not enough constraints appear to be applied to prevent rigid body motion. This may lead to solution warnings or errors. Check results carefully.
Please let me know how to rectify these issues. I have also applied load on the pin.

Seems you are facing a similar issue which might be helpful and you can check that here - How to understand Solver Output and why a solution failed ÔÇö Ansys Learning Forum.
It also appears that there are not enough constraints to prevent rigid body motion. Please do check your loads and if you think you are doing right, turn on weak springs which can help you prevent rigid body motion. To do that, go to Analysis settings, under the properties, turn on weak springs.
Regards Surya
