pin on disc joint analysis

  hello sir
  i am new to ansys world. I want to study the deformation of pin when it is fixed and the disc is rotating. I am unable to make the disc rotate in the static structural analysis. please help.

  nnDo you have friction and joint defined between same set of faces? I see a question mark on the joint load. Can you delete the joint and apply a remote displacement on the disc with rotation about z = 20 degrees in one second?.Regards,nAshish Khemkan

  sirnnthank you for your response.nnyes sir, frictional interface between pin and disc is defined.i removed the joint, and gave rotational velocity. but this time also disc is not rotating. n

  Arrayone more thing sirnnif without removing joints, i am giving rotation in terms of 20 degree, the model works. however if i give in terms of rotational velocity it is not working. n
