SubscriberIs it possible in any Lumerical Software to simulate the generation of RF or Microwave signals from a piezoelectric material in a waveguide? Do I have to combine a couple of solvers to do this? If so, which solvers?

Ansys EmployeeTo clarify: do you want simulation of RF generation? if so, no.
If you want to simulate piezoelectric material in a waveguide, it might be doable: you can find the change of its refractive index by strain:

With the material change, you can simulate the RF signal propagation in the waveguide (FDTD, varFDTD, DGTD or EME), or get the mode properties (FDE, FEEM).
FDTD, varFDTD, DGTD and EME simulate propagation whereas FDE and FEEM solve mode properties in waveguide. All solvers need correct material properties.
