Perspective view

      Hi!

I would like to visualize thermal results with a different view than the default Isometric View in workbench.

For example, I have this image:

I would like to visualize this same image but with this point of view:

But the best I can do in workbench is:

Is there any way of doing this?

      Thanks

      Hi Federico,
There are standard views available in the Ansys to view the simulation result. You can use these options to view the simulation. If you want to see the other desired view, then you can use the rotate and pan option to position the model at the desired orientation.

Hi Sampat, thanks for your answer

What I meant by “a different view” was actually a different projection. Changing the orientation of the model doesn’t fully accomplish what I need. If you take a look at the second picture I attached (from a 3rd party visualization product) you will notice that both “inner walls” of the model are visible, while in Ansys, that’s not possible with the default Isometric view. This is the closest I can get to that:

        Hi Federico,
thanks for the information. I don't think it may be possible in the Mechanical to see both inner walls at the same time as you have mentioned in the pictures. You can use the option to rotate to see the view of the simulation.

      Hi Federico,
There is also a workaround for it. if you want to see the simulation of both inner walls at the same time then you use the viewport option to see the simulation result of both inner walls on two screens. Adjust the screen according to your requirements. You can find the viewports option in the "Display tab".

Let me know if it is helpful or not. You can adjust the different views of the simulation.

      Sampat

      Hi Sampat,

I ended up opening one of the result files of my model with Ansys EnSight to obtain the screenshots that I needed with perspective projection.

        Hi Federico ,
I am not able to see your image here. Please upload the screenshot of the image again, not the link.

        Regards,
        Sampat
