SubscriberI'm simulating a 1/9 section of an axial fan using periodic boundary conditions, my velocity profiles and pressure rise largely agree with the experimental results, but the calculated torque (using report moments in Z in Fluent) is about 30% underpredicted and this appears to be independent of mesh refinement and turbulence model. I assume when Fluent calculates torque it extrapolates from the section simulated for the whole fan? Is there a way to calculate for just one blade so I can just multiply by 9 or something? Thank you. -
