July 26, 2021 at 11:24 pmha_nguyen3 SubscriberI want to perform electromagnetic simulation. On Discovery AIM, I select electromagnetic < pure electric < apply 42V on one side and 0V on the other side. - After importing the geometry from Solidworks, the white gaps between 2 bodies are shown ( figure 2 - red circle). Is there a way to eliminate the gap?
- Is PML available on Discovery AIM? and is "contact match" similar to PML?
- I use contact match, so that the nodes are matched between layers (figure 3). Is there a way to import this pre-defined mesh to the electromagnetic study?
- Can the results be displayed on grayscale?
Thank you. July 27, 2021 at 1:29 pmNaresh Patre Ansys EmployeeHello ha_nguyen3
Please find below the answers to your questions.
In Physics settings - Solver Options you can find a few options for controlling the mesh.
There are no other settings for controlling the mesh other than those mentioned in above point.
It is not possible to import pre-defined mesh in Discovery AIM.
I couldn't find any settings for changing the colors of results.
