SubscriberDear ANSYS Fluent Support,
I would like to know if it is possible to simulate a catalytic surface reaction with a non-linear rate using ANSYS Fluent's Particle Reaction model with eulerian-eulerian multiphase model and a UDF for the kinetic of the reaction. Could you please provide guidance on this?
Thank you

Forum ModeratorParticle reactions would tend to be DPM, which isn't Euler-Euler multiphase. However, you can react the latter too. As a starting point work out what you need to find out from the model, and what the boundary conditions would be. What is the solid volume fraction, and what happens to the particles as they react?Â
