Participation factor/effective mass contribution of each body in modal analysis

Hey guys, is it possible, for each natural frequency, to get the participation factor contribution of each body in the modal analysis? The participation factor is usually a cummulative sum from the contribution of all the bodies but is there a way to know how much a particular body contributes?
If this doesnt make sense or is not possible, let me know.

      Hey,

Under the Modal analysis tree, go to Solution Information. From the Details select the Solver Output and search for the participation factor in the desirable direction.

      Hope this helps,

      Zoi

Hi Zoi, thank you for responding. My question was, lets take Mode 1, for example in the above picture. It has a participation factor of 0.155e-1. If the model has two bodies (or elements or whatever), can I get a break down of each bodies contribution to that 0.155E-1?

Hello and thanks for the clarification. Unfortunatelly there isn't yet a straightforward way to calculate the participation factors of each body of a mode. To achieve this you have to use scripting with APDL.
