Is there a way to create parameters in sketch mode? For example, I create a line in sketch mode. Is there a way to parameterize the length of the line? Thank you.

Are you going to convert that line to a beam elements?
Or does that line become a face of a body when the sketch is pulled into a solid?
It would be easier to offer useful suggestions if you show what you are trying to do.

The line would become the face of a body when pulled. Or, I might choose to revolve it around an axis. Not trying to do anything specific yet; just trying to learn. Thanks.

After you use the pull tool, it is very easy to add a parameter while moving the face of the solid. The P button shows up while using the Pull tool.
