Subscriberhello, i have cylinder which supposed to heat flux with inlet water=25 c and outlet 0 gage pressure
now i want to determine outlet temperature of water
1- what is input here ?

Forum ModeratorThe clue is "backflow", the temperature there is only used to determine the temperature of any fluid entering the domain from that surface.
On a flow boundary I'd use mass weighted and on a solid boundary area weighted. Have a look at the definitions and you tell me why.

Subscriberthank you , but now in my case should make value of backflow temp = 0 or leave it as default=300 ??

Forum ModeratorZero Kelvin would be bad, if there's no back flow leave it at 300K.
