Only Recognizing One Face – Capping Fluid Region

  I am having trouble capping a fluid region. I have imported a STP14 File into Ansys Fluent and I am able to create a surface mesh using the Watertight Geometry Workflow. However, when I go to cap the fluid region, it selects the entire body and does not recognize any faces. Any advice?

  The desired faces must have a defined label at the CAD level. If not, you can separate the zones by using ‘Separate Out Boundary Zones by Angles?’ option while generating the surface mesh. For more details, please refer to this workshop video:
