my research groupmates and i were trying to simulate a small thermoelectric generator but we encountered an error. what does this mean and how can we solve it? we would greatly appreciate help regarding this asap. thank you!

Hi Kate,

Can you tell me which Ansys license you are using? For the student version, we have some limitations regarding the maximum number of nodes. Please check the below link for more details.

Thank you so much for taking notice in our issue. We are currently using the built-in license that comes in the Ansys Student Workbench. Can you elaborate on the "nodes"? And what steps can we take to solve it?

Hi Kate,

Please check the below image for more details on the size limit with a student license.

You can reduce the model node count or upgrade the license so that you can solve the big models.
