SubscriberI am using ansys discovery under the license of snsys student. The website said that four CPU cores could be used, but only one is currently being used.
I would like to know if this is due to the student license, if the number of cores can be changed by changing the settings, or if it is incompatible with my computer. -

Forum ModeratorThe student version doesn't support this, so it will run on the default included 4 cores (or less) but it will not use more than 4 cores. You can set the use solver default for Max number of processors in File>>Settings>>Physics.
Thanks,
Devendra
