For MPC-based contact definitions, the value of STAT can be negative. This indicates that one or more contact constraints were intentionally removed to prevent over-constraint. See PLESOL command docs.

Hi Adisa,
In the contact tracker, try switch between contact and target side to view the number in contact. Since auto-symmetric contact is used, solver might have flipped the contact and target sides.
