SubscriberHi, I'm new at Ansys and I am facing a problem to run CFX. This is what happened:
I was able to run all tutorials from CFX Getting Started Course, but once I tried my first case, the solver return this error: +--------------------------------------------------------------------+ |                                  | |            ANSYS(R) CFX(R) Solver            | |                                  | +--------------------------------------------------------------------+ |        An error has occurred in cfx5solve:         | |                                  | | The ANSYS CFX solver exited with return code 1.  No results file | | has been created.                         | +--------------------------------------------------------------------+ÂEnd of solution stage.
I thougth it was something related to my configuration (boundary conditions, etc) but I kept getting the error. So I tried to re-run a tutorial from the course, without making any changes, and the same error occured, which is weird because it was running just fine before.
Does someone knows what this can be? I'm using Ansys 2020R2. -

Ansys EmployeeHi Beatriz,
Can you check the OUT file and see for any warnings or error messages? The OUT file is a text document that is a transcript of the solver manager. Errors or warnings can be seen in the bottom sections of this document.
