December 11, 2020 at 10:28 amsankarsuresh01SubscriberI'm trying to mesh a 3d chassis model of a car. The model has been imported from solidworks, and has been made using the weldments and trim/extend feature. As of now, I'm able to mesh the model without applying boolean or without grouping all the chassis members as a part. But, performing the explicit dynamics crash test with this configuration, is taking a lot of time, and also the results are not right. The stress /strain is 0, and the deformation doesnt take place. If I try meshing the model after grouping as a part, the mesh generation takes a long time, but never gets meshed. It just keeps on going. How should I proceed? Thanks.n
