Subscriberhello everyone, I wanted to do an MDOF seismic time history analysis using either mass acclereration(X,Y,Z)component (or nodal displacement at the foot of column instead of fix support) for getting restoring the force-displacement relationship of each component. I have the following settings, but I am having doubts of the graphs that I have obtained. Can anyone take a look and tell if something is wrong?
1)Bcoz I was expecting a smooth graph which is also attached below for each component. (NOTE: this curve was obtained when I analyzed a single column with a point mass at top and nodal displacement at the bottom instead of fix support.
2) When I check EPPL for a single column in the above frame, there is no plastic strain yet I get a force-displacement relation like this. How?
