Hello everyone!
As the title says I am doing a structural-diffusion-coupling analysis in APDL with either Solid226 or 227. for the diffusion part I provide the diffusion coefficient and the migration table. When it comes to the structural material model I want to use a form of hyperelasticity, ideally Neo-Hooke, but the issue thta arises is best summed up by the following error message by the solver when trying to solve the model: More than one material option has been defined for material 1. Hyperelastic material (TB,HYPER) is not supported with other nonlinear material models.
Nothing in the availabe guides states that hyperelasticity is incompatible with the migration model, quite the opposite actually!
Am I misunderstanding the guides? Can someone please help me out with this?
Thanks :)

Section 7.1, of the MAPDL Material Reference Guide, lists all supported material model combinations. Â HYPER + MIGR is not listed as a supported combination.
While SOLID226 does support HYPER materials in some coupled physics combinations, like Thermal-Structural (for example), the HYPER does not appear to be supported for Structural-Diffusion.Â
The SOLID226 Elements docs could be clearer on this point.
