Nonlinear Concrete Modeling

  Good morning, I’m trying to model the nonlinear behavior of concrete in Ansys 2024, including both the hardening and softening phases. Could anyone provide me with some advice or useful tips?

  I am working on a cylinder subjected to a compression load, trying to use the parameters from example 49 to achieve the expected behavior. However, I am unable to reproduce the softening phase. Could someone kindly help me understand why? I am attaching the stress-strain curve below.
