Nodal pressure direction

Hello everyone I'm trying to apply nodal pressure on my structure. But I can't see in which direction the load is being applied. How can I know the direction of loading of nodal pressure?

      1) Why nodal pressure?  Why not apply the pressure to the face of the geometry?

      2) Is the element a solid element or a shell element?

Hello sir 1. I don't know how to apply pressure on the face of the geometry. How can I apply pressure to the face of geometry?
      2. I have 2 model in which 1 is shell model and the other is solid model.

Which software are you using, Mechanical Workbench or Mechanical APDL?

In Workbench, after you have geometry, you bring it into the Mechanical program and you can apply a pressure load to a face on the geometry.

When you do that, it will show an arrow. You can change the sign on the pressure to make the arrow point in the opposite direction.

By default the nodal pressure is oriented along the surface normal if you give it a positive magnitude, and vice-versa. You can check the direction of the surface normal that you are using to create the nodal named selection.

      Hope that helps!!
