“Nested sweep must have the same solver” error

      Hi all,

I am using Lumerical FDTD 2022 R2.4 to run simulations with a nested sweep. However, I keep encountering "Nested sweep must have the same solver" error without any further message while constructing the sweeping files. Does anyone has any idea where the error comes from or how to solve it? Any input will be much appreciated.

      Hi,

I get the same error using MODE 2023R1.3. It only happens when I have more than one solver in the project file. In my case, it is FDE & EME. It happens despite the fact that one of them is inactive, and I have chosen the correct solver in the innermost sweep GUI. For me, a workaround is to delete one of the solvers. It is not ideal however as I have to maintain/develop two files for the complicated structure I have.
