Negative Stress Values in ANSYS

  Performed a compression test using explicit dynamics and measured the stresses. I got some negative stress values (sharp drop) at the start of the deformation before going back to positive.
  
  Anyone got any knowledge on what may be the reason here?

  Compressive stress looks to be the reason.
