SubscriberWe are performing a pressure based simulation of a turbine, with dynamic motion involving Six DOF. Even with orthogonal mesh quality above 0.1, acceptable skewness values, and timestep of 1e-5, we are facing "negative cell volume" error. Kindly suggest any workaround for this case.

Ansys EmployeeHi,
The negative cell volume error may be due to distance moved per time step may be greater than the edge or cell size in the dynamic region. We can avoid this problem by giving correct time step size. Also check your smoothing and remeshing parameter.ÂThank you
