Hi
I was suggested to use *CONTROL_IMPLICIT_DYNAMICS since my implicit analysis is not converging. I went through a link (http://ftp.lstc.com/anonymous/outgoing/support/FAQ/implicit_guidelines_cards) where GAMMA = 0.60 and BETA = 0.38 were used. I went through the LSDyna manual but not getting enough.Â
Could anyone please help me on the GAMMA and BETA? How I can decide on their values? Thanks.

These are the parameters for the Newmark-beta method, e.g. see
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Newmark-beta_method
(or do a Google search for various detailed notes and explanations)
The values of 0.6 ad 0.38 add some numerical damping in contrast to the default values
You should not change these values without good reason
