Need a rotating propeller in a aerodynamics analysis, how can i do it?

I have an aerodesign airplane, and i don't know how can i do an aerodynamic analysis with a propeller rotating, to have the data of lift and drag with the turbulence air in the wing root. I saw about UDF (user defined function) and doing it in the Fluent, but i don't know how to do it.

Someone has already done something like that to help?

You can use sliding mesh or moving reference frame for the propeller. You then set the rotation speed and airflow speed over the aircraft.

Depending on what your simulation domain looks like, I would suggest using a Moving Reference Frame (MRF) in Fluent to model the propeller motion.

You have an example here on what are the meshing requirements for MRF Mixing Tank Tutorial Using Ansys Fluent Meshing Watertight Geometry Workflow - YouTube. Although this is for a mixing tank, the concepts are the same for MRFs.

Thanks, I will try this and see what I can get
