Forum ModeratorHi Tim,
No it's not possible to open multiple instance of spaceclaim with a single license, you can launch it in read-only mode.

SubscriberWe can open multiple instances of Spaceclaim on the local machine without issue. Is the limitation if you are using floating licenses?

Forum ModeratorHi Marc,
What do you mean by local machine over here? at a time only one instance of spaceclaim can be launched.

SubscriberI think he may be talking about 'Named user' licenses. With these a user can open multiple instances of SpaceClaim on one machine. With the floating license opening another instance of the software consumes another license so one person could un-intentionally comsume multiple licenses. I think it is possible with flex lm to create rules to stop this happening but don't think the Ansys licenses allow this. Â
