SubscriberI have a single machine configuration and solve HFSS models by the embedded VBS script.nThe HPC engine config has 2 tasks and 4 cores allowed. (well, we have even more licenses, but I keep the pool for other people. So it is not an insufficiency of licenses this time). MPI vendor is platform computing.nRecently, mpid.exe crash message started appearing when I start a parameter altering script. HFSS halts when the message is floating, but resumes, when I close the message box, like nothing happened.nWhile I am curious what can it be, the practical impact is that I can not run scripts unattended, because I need catching the messagebox and clicking OK, for computation running.n -

Ansys Employee,nCould you please share a screenshot of the Exact error message that you got and impinge here.nWhich version of AEDT you are using?nAlso, after closing the box does the HFSS simulation resumes with the speculated HPC settings itself?.nRegards,n -

SubscriberP.S. It has sort of accumulation effect, probably kind of memory leak.nWhen I reboot the machine, I do not see it for a few days. Then it starts appearing. And I need to reboot it again for putting the workstation in unattended mode on weekends.n
