Hello,
I am simulating a moving heat source that produces a doughnut beam on a Ti-6Al-4V plate of 300x300x6.35 mm size in ANSYS\Workbench Mechanical.
I know that the default beam shape for a moving heat source is Gaussian.
but, I need a doughnut beam shape.
I couldn't find any resources or videos to do that. can you please help me with this? -

There's probably no resources or video on that, but if you create radiation between two objects you can move the source object with displacements and request the view factors be updated during the solution with the APDL VFUP command (VFUP,,ON).
