Moving Files From LS-PrePost to Workbench

  Follow-up to this post: /forum/forums/topic/how-to-convert-ls-dyna-key-files-and-k-files-to-ansys-workbench/
  We are currently working with .k files at my company and want to start transferring some of the outputs to Workbench. Is there any way to open binout, D3Plot, or .k files to Workbench the same way you would in PrePost?

  Hello,
  I believe that the model should apiori exist in Workbench. Then the d3plot results can be loaded into WB by clicking on "Read Result Files" as shown below. I don't think that individual d3plot files or keyword files can be opened in Workbench as in LSPP.

  External Model can read LS-DYNA .k files.
