SubscriberHi All,
I have imported a cad model for a fan and there are some geometry issues when I check the geometry in space claim. I've inspected it for gaps and other anomalies but can't see any major issues? This motor casing cannot generate a mesh, see screenshots below.
There are also many non-manifold vertecies, see below. Will these present an issues? Thanks in advance!

SubscriberThis is a thin-walled part. I suggest you open the solid model geometry in SpaceClaim and use the Midsurface tool to convert it into surface geometry which can be more easily meshed with shell elements that will have the correct thickness automatically assigned by the Midsurface tool.
