SubscriberI am trying to simulate the behavior of a shock absorber model using Ansys Motion in Workbench. This is intended to be used later in a larger model. I want to implement non-linear spring stiffness, so I am using a Joint Longitudinal Spring associated with the translational joint between the two bodies and a d-f spline to model a dual-rate spring. The problem I am facing is that no matter what force I apply to the shock, the deformation obtained always corresponds to the stiffness coefficient generated from the first two points of the spline, regardless of the shape of the rest of the curve.
