Hello. I cannot fix this issue ! I have changes the substeps, "adjust to touch", Automatic time stepping, rigid body motion etc. Please assist me. Thanks a lot. I did the "curve fit" and paste the obtained values in the Mooney Rivlin coefficients.

Hi Harry,

Can you share more details about the issue? As per the image attached, it looks like the curve fitting is not giving proper coefficients for the Mooney-Rivlin model. Do you have test data for a given material? Did you try other hyperelastic material models? Please check the below video on curve fitting and see if it helps.

Hi Harry,

Are you using the material from the Ansys database or do you have any test data for the material you want to use?  Also, what type of Analysis are you doing? As per the error message, it looks like you need some material property data which is not defined in your material definition.

I am using static structure and the materials used in Ansys database.

Hi Harry,

I tried using the Mooney-Rivlin 5-parameter material model and it properly fits the test data. Also, tried to run a demo model with this material and it worked. Please try and let me know if it helps.

Thank you . so you mean Mooney Rivlin 2 parameter does not work? I will try 5 parameter hoping to have a proper result.

I’m grateful. You’re saying that the Mooney Rivlin 2 parameter isn’t functioning? I’ll attempt five parameters in the hopes of getting the right outcome  candy clicker .

Yes, neither Mooney Rivlin 2 parameter nor the 5 parameter are working for me. all the coefficients have been curve-fitted.
