SubscriberHello, all
I am trying to simulate lifting operation for a complex assembly. However, I am facing moment convergence issues for the same. I request you all to guide me in sorting out this issue. The model is connected to the lifting point using springs (tension only) of 1e13 N/mm stiffness to simulate the slings effect. The model is converging for springs with both behaviour where in springs provides the resistance to both tension and compression forces. The remote point is located above the center of mass of the system. I have introduced the small springs of 10N/mm at the corner vertices for mathematical stability. Scaled acceleration is applied to simulate the exact weight of assembly in simplified model used.
