SubscriberI currently have a 2022 F1 car model and every repair and prepare task comes up with no errors or issues in the model. However, when the model is inputted into a watertight geometry workflow and tries to create a surface mesh, it comes up with errors and fails. Fluent says to check Diagnostics for any errors but as I stated above, none are appearing. What is going wrong with the model or should I convert it to a facet model before using fluent? Thanks!

SubscriberHey, unfortunately I lost that file and error message but I remember it containing "can't close face" and "overlapping edge at bn 'x, y' coordinate"

Forum ModeratorIt is not simple to identify the issue. I can suggest you to check again geometry issue using repair tools. Is could be that some hard edges, overlapping surfaces or similar issue are still present and block mesh generation.
