  How to change the number of elements along the axial direction of the stepped cylinder during meshing?

  It depends. Which meshing tool are you using?

  I am using the default ANSYS Fluent meshing tool.

  OK. You'll need to do some decomposition and/or use Multibody sweep as the normal sweep tool will struggle. Click on Help as it'll be covered in some of the tutorials.
