While exporting a Rmxprt Induction motor model to ansys maxwell 2D, Ansys maxwell assumes the mesh to be SurfApprox_Bar and SurfApprox_Main.
While calculating the torque with the Maxwell Stress Tensor method using Brad and Btan values calculated from field calculator in MATLAB, I see that the torque calculated is different (less) than the value in Ansys Maxwell simulation result.
However, changing the mesh size using a legth based refinement, the torque value now calculated is almost the same as the one in Ansys simulation.
My question is, should the value of Brad and Btan change with the refinement of mesh size. If for a particular mesh size a torque is calculated in the simulation, shouldn't that value be the same as being calculated using the Maxwell Stress tensor method in MATLAB.Â
