SubscriberI am using the "thermal-electric" module for simulation of thermoelectric films.
But I encountered a problem when meshing, "The surface meshes intersect or are close to intersecting, making it difficult to create a volume mesh. Please adjust the mesh size or geometry to solve the problem."
This may be because my size in the thickness direction is too small.
But the shells cannot be used in thermoelectric effects. Â
What should I do?

Hey,
Can you once right click on the error and press "go to problematic geometry" and confirm what is the error ?
Sometimes there are geometry errors (small faces inside the volume) that get carried on to mechanical and show up as errors like you are getting. If this is not the case, do post some pictures of geometry and mesh parameters that you are using so other forum members can provide meshing suggestions.
Thanks.
