I am doing my pre-doctoral project working simulating a kayak.

The problem I got is that, when I try to mesh, I got this:

nHere are some suggestion.nUse refined mesh sizing. nUse curvature size functionnturn on defeaturing and use defeature size bigger than thin faces so that it can ignore the sliver faces.nInsert Virtual topology object in the tree. Select the body, right click and generate virtual cells. It may simplify face representation if there are problematic faces.n

nDid you manage to close the surface model and get a solid body for the kayak before you created the Enclosure for the Fluid Domains?nDid you split the Fluid Domains at the waterline? That plane could also split the kayak.nThen you can use Shared Topology to put the kayak pieces back together.n
