For my final year project I have to mesh and model two types of propellers. A conventional MIL propeller and a Toroidal propeller, i have not made the toroidal propeller. However when i try to mesh the MIL propeller the trailing edge of the blade defeatures and I am not sure how to stop it. Any ideas? The image attached has 28 million cells so it is not a fineness issue.

Do you have a geometry edge along the trailing edge of the blade. If not, can you add one and see if that helps. If there is an edge, the mesher has to follow the edge when using patch conforming method.Â
Or can you add face splits to separate the trailing edge. This way you can add a separate face sizing to make sure it is captured.
