Mesh check failed in Fluent

      Hi,

I have refined the blocks in ICEM CFD with a refinement level of 2:1. However, when I import the mesh to Fluent and check the mesh, the following warning-message appears :

                     Checking mesh............

Zone  12:   551 cell(s) have node(s) not connect to all faces (on 0)........................

                     Done.

Zone  12:   551 cell(s) have node(s) not connect to all faces (on 1)

Although I can perform the simulation normally, I just want to know if this warning message will affect my results.

If you're getting flow through the refined nodes then don't worry as it's probably a warning about the hanging nodes. As we can adapt within Fluent it's more common to read in the mesh and refine there: you may also be better off using Workbench (ANSYS) Meshing as it's a more user friendly interface.
