SubscriberHello,Â
I have simple simulation for my school project, but there are soem things I want to ask about.Â
I have 2m long pipe with water flowing in it and I need to compare 3 types of meshes, two in Fluent meshing and the third is hex mesh from Ansys meshing. I cut model of pipe, so I can get nice structured hex mesh. But now when I export mesh to the fluent I have 9 faces for inlet and outlet. It s possible to somehow merge these faces ?Â
Thanks for help.

Forum ModeratorIn Meshing if you set the fluid volumes as one named selection and then set the inlet surfaces as another it avoids the problem. In Fluent you'll need to merge the cell zones and then the inlet faces.
