SubscriberI am running the same type of analysis(transient analysis Mechanical) in 2 systems(Laptop and workstation), in one system(laptop) RAM is being used(which is desirable) and in another system(workstation), HDD is being used.
I want to utilize the RAM in my workstation too as HDD is slower and has low memory compared to RAM.

Is there any setting that needs to be changed? how can I utilise the RAM in my workstation?

Forum ModeratorIt seems from the analysis that both the analyses are taking around 15 GB RAM to solve, the only difference on the workstation seems to be using HDD instead of SSD. It also seems that you have SSD on C: on the workstation, can you use that instead? You can not simply use RAM instead of storage, as you would require bare minimum storage for storing files.
